New Experiences

Although senior year has been very busy and kind of hectic, I have been researching my topic on a daily basis. Going to the library with my house opened my eyes to a different way to find research. Before going to the library, I would find a lot of articles by opinionated authors. I also have been watching movies about family counseling, mental health, or adolescents. The Squid and The Whale(2005) is about a family that is going through a divorce and their two sons, Walt and Frank, are caught in the middle. Another movie that stuck out to me is Girl Interrupted(1999). I liked this movie because it focused on the minds of the girls that were in the mental hospital. I am planning on meeting my mentor this week for my first interview.
